We would like to inform you that we have completed the server upgrade maintenance window that will enhance the performance and reliability of our DNS Infrastructure.
Maintenance Details:

Maintenance Start Date: 17th January 2025 (Friday)
Maintenance Start Time: 10:00 PM GMT+8 (Malaysia Time)
Maintenance End Date: 18th January 2025 (Saturday)
Maintenance End Time: 03:00 AM GMT+8 (Malaysia Time)
Expected Downtime: None
Reason for Maintenance:
We are upgrading our DNS Infrastructure server Operating System to AlmaLinux 9. This upgrade is necessary due to the End of Life (EOL) support for the current version. AlmaLinux 9 offers significant performance enhancements, including a lightweight kernel and extended support for a secure and stable environment. Continuous security patches and kernel updates will ensure our infrastructure remains resilient against potential vulnerabilities.
During the maintenance window, we will proceed as follows:
Server (ns2.gbnetdns.com): The upgrade process will commence on ns2.gbnetdns.com starting at 10:00 PM GMT+8. During this time, there will be no impact on our services as ns1.gbnetdns.com will remain fully operational. This maintenance involve all domain that pointing to ns2.gbnetdns.com.
This phased approach ensures there will be no downtime or interruption to DNS resolution services throughout the maintenance period. Users will continue to access our services seamlessly.
Our team will work diligently to complete the upgrades within the specified maintenance. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
