A security flaw identified as CVE-2026-31431, also known as "Copy Fail", has been discovered in the Linux kernel.
This vulnerability affects most major Linux distributions, including: - Ubuntu - Debian - RHEL / AlmaLinux / Rocky Linux - Amazon Linux - SUSE - Fedora
Any Linux kernel built between 2017 and the present may be impacted.
