Scheduled
As part of our continuous effort to enhance network stability and performance, we will be carrying out scheduled network infrastructure maintenance in our Malaysia data center. This activity involves the implementation of Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) on the DE-CIX uplink.
By enabling LACP, multiple physical links connected to DE-CIX will be combined into a single logical uplink. This provides higher redundancy, better load distribution, and improved failover capability. In the event one link experiences issues, traffic will automatically shift to the remaining links, ensuring smoother and more stable connectivity.
Affected Customers This maintenance will affect GB Network Solutions clients subscribed to services hosted in the Malaysia location. Please refer to the impacted services below:
- Email: Business Email Hosting, Dedicated Email Hosting - Hosting: Startup Web Hosting, Business Web Hosting, Windows Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting - VPS: Linux OpenVZ VPS, cPanel OpenVZ VPS, Linux KVM VPS, Windows KVM VPS, Linux VPS (n8n), RunCloud VPS - Forex VPS: Forex VPS Malaysia - Dedicated Server: Linux & Windows Dedicated Server - Malaysia - Game Server: Minecraft Server, FiveM Server Hosting - Colocation
Maintenance Schedule - Date: Saturday, 22nd November 2025 - Start Time: 12:00 AM (GMT+8) - End Time: 01:00 AM (GMT+8) - Estimated Downtime: 15–30 minutes
Service Impact - This maintenance will involve your services and your server(s) that are located in our Malaysia data center. - Traffic to international destinations will be temporarily routed via a secondary IPTX (transit) during the maintenance. Services will continue to operate, though brief latency may be observed during the transition. - Local connectivity within Malaysia remains unaffected.
Post-Maintenance Information Once completed, the DE-CIX uplink will operate using LACP, providing improved redundancy, better load distribution, and enhanced failover capability. All services will resume normal operation with no IP address changes.
Please be assured that we will do our best to keep the downtime as minimal as possible. Our engineers will be available during and after the network maintenance should any issues arise.
